Leadership Essentials for Supervisors

This course is designed for front-line to mid-managers who are moving from peer to supervisor and for those who would benefit from refreshing their leadership skills. This course focuses on leadership skills in communication, coaching, performance management and leading through constant change.


The key learning objectives will help participants gain insight into:

  • Establishing credibility with more senior/experienced employees.

  • Aligning supervisory accountability to overall organization business strategy and people management expectations.

  • Using coaching as a means to engage staff, inspire innovation and create a team culture of trust.

  • Communicating to meet the needs of different types of employees.

  • Exploring new ways of thinking to facilitate change and conflict.

Refund Policy

Participants may withdraw from a course at any time, however, a $100 administration fee will be charged for withdrawing from the course up to 5 days prior to course start date. No course refund will be processed after this time. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal
